ADDY 2025, Gold winner (Identity Design)
IDA 2025 - Honarable Mention
This project was developed in collaboration with SCADpro, SCAD's in-house design studio where students work with real-world clients. Our team partnered with the EcoWomanist Institute to create a brand identity for BRAID, an incubator that provides resources and support for Black female farmers.
Over the course of 10 weeks, we worked closely with founder Valerie Hill Rawls, MAPT, whose insights and experiences shaped our design strategy. By addressing key pain points faced by farmers, we aimed to create a meaningful and impactful identity system. Our research process included visiting farmers' markets, engaging in conversations with farmers, and exploring the rich history of Black female farmers to ensure the brand authentically reflected their values and needs.
As a Visual Designer on the team, I was responsible for developing the logo design, brand guidelines, and packaging design.
